andSecurity Policy It is the policy of NRG Engineering Pte. Ltd. to conduct theiractivities so as to: § Consider first the health, safety, andsecurity of employees, contractors, and third parties who may be affected. § Protect the environment, prevent pollution,and strive to continually improve the environmental management system andperformance. § Ensure that quality, health, safetyenvironement, and security (QHSES) matters have priority among businessobjectives. § Protect the security of employees,facilities, and assets. § Comply with all applicable legalrequirements of the country/jurisdiction in which the Company is operating. § Maintain the ability of the Company tocontinuously improve QHSES performance throufh regular review of procedures andpractices. TheCompany carries out this policy through corporate and operational activitiesthat are supported by management and shall require the commitment of eachindividual employee to achieve these objectives. The Company is committed toproviding continuing education and training to achieve Company goals. Allemployees are responsible for the observance of the Company’s QHSES policiesand procedures and the development of their job skills relating to QHSESissues. All employees are directed to consider and help protect the quality, health,safety, and security of those working under their supervision and alongsidethem and to act to protect the environment within the scope of their work. TheCompany’s QHSES policies and procedures incroporate guidance from theInternational Association of Oil and Gas Producers and other relevant industryorganizations. Furthermore, the policies and procedures should be supplementedby applicable codes and standards recommented by industry classificationsocieties, client safety policies, and sovereign laws. Generally, the moststringent standards shall be followed. The goal is to prevent accidents,injuries, job related illnesses, and environmental degradation. Quality TheCompany will § Ensure that all key work processes aredetermined and linked to effectively manage the business activities. § Key Performance Indicators have been set tomonitor the effectiveness of processes § Focus on customer requirements includingstatutory and regulatory requirements (where applicable) with the aim ofenhancing customer satisfaction. Health § The Company seeks to conduct activities insuch a way as to ensure the health of employees, contractors, and thirdparties. § The Company will continually update andimplement the measures necessary to maintain the health of employees. § The Company will handle employee medicalconditions with the highest degree of confidentiality. Safety § The Company believes that all injuries arepreventable and actively promotes high standards of safety awareness. § The Company is committed to maintaining safeworking methods to reduce the risk of work related injuries. The Company iscommitted to providing high quality equipment, training, and personalprotective equipment. § The Company encourages employees to evaluateassigned tasks and to resolve problems in a productive and safe manner. § The Company is committed to improving thesafety management, skills of all personnel. Emergency plans shall be maintainfor safety, security, and environmental protection. Environment The Company will: § Endeavour to reduce emissions and dischargeof waste which are known to have a negative effect on the environment. § Promote procedures designed to ensure safeoperations of equipment and to protect the environment in compliance withrelevant regulations. § Provide services which are not harmful tothe environment. Security TheCompany will: § Promote a secure working environment byestablishing and maintaining appropriate security measures. § Protect the security of company personnelassets and installations by taking reasonable steps to prepare for prevent ormitigate foreseeable harms.
